 The new mail notification status bar for Pidgin seems to be populated only
 when the login happens and remains there till the user clicks on it/logs
 out of pidgin. Subsequently a user might have checked his mailbox either
 through a browser or a mail client but Pidgin does not update the new mail
 status. Thus it wrongly shows the new mail status. Is anyone working on a
 time-out system to recheck the mailbox status every xx minutes?
