 The latest version of Pidgin does not seem to be reflecting the proper
 buddy status for silc buddies. I run my own silcd server and have been
 watching its log files as people start up in the morning. Many of these
 people are in my buddy list, however, they never appear there unless I:

 1) Remove them from the buddy list and re-add them
 2) Quit pidgin and restart it.

 At first I thought this might have been a problem with the silcd daemon,
 and it still might be, but are the developers certain that the proper
 queries or transactions are taking place with the silcd server?
