which is XMPP "Do not Disturb" and is displayed correctly by Pidgin. There
is no bug, imaginary or otherwise.
I don't have a problem with "Busy" being displayed as "Do Not Disturb,"
but I don't think "Away" is a valid replacement for "Idle." GTalk very
clearly says the word "Idle" in a user's status when they are idle, and
there's no reason someone who is just switching to Pidgin from GTalk would
know that "Away" actually means "Idle" and that "DND" is "Busy." Sure,
this isn't a software bug, but it is an issue of semantics, and one that I
 believe warrants change.
