 Sometimes, my AIM will just not connect. Sometimes it works fine, and
 other times it just will sit at an empty buddy list with the "connecting"
 icon frozen, not spinning like normal. I was recently having issues with
 other programs due to winbind - there were race conditions happening. I
 tried shutting down winbind - same issues.

 It looks like DNS finds oscar, and the program sends the username, but
 never recieves a response. At the same time, however, I can still web
 browse and use my email client. I've attached a log. I've been having this
 problem for a few weeks. I was using Ubuntu 8.10, and was so frustrated I
 tried the 9.04 beta, which worked for a while, but is now happening more
 frequently. I have attached my log. I tried disabiling all plugins, same
 issue. Thanks for your time.
