 As stated here [http://developer.pidgin.im/ticket/181], Pidgin has
 problems and get disoriented after resuming from suspend or more in
 general if network interfaces go down while it is running.
 I am facing this problem on some accounts: until I manually make a refresh
 of my accounts, they seems all to be online,but libpurple actually is not
 making any connections.[[BR]]
 I'm using wicd as network manager and the solution for this bug should be
 application-independent, without relying on specific applications.

 I see no trace in the changelog of the proposed patch in #181.
 So, I guess this is still a nice bug.
