 I'm having the same issue. One thing I notice is that Yahoo Messenger
 seems to be using an entirely different set of hosts. It's connected to
 76.13.15.53:5050 (cs125.msg.ac4.yahoo.com), whereas scs.msg.yahoo.com
 resolves to this (note that the majority are down):

 $ nslookup scs.msg.yahoo.com | grep -i Address | grep -v \#53 | cut -d ' '
