Comment:

 I can see two reasonable behaviours for auto-away:

 * Use the same message that was previously set (which is what Daemonax is
 after); or
 * Use a particular custom status.

 In the former case, you always want to be Away, not some other status
 type. So I think a reasonable UI could look like:
