 Unfortunately I don't have many details.  x86_64, latest Mandriva cooker
 RPMs.

 After I came back from the weekend (ie, Pidgin was idle for ~48 hours
 logged in), I typed in a message to a contact, pressed enter key, and then
 the client software proceeded to use all the ram (6GB) in my machine and
 then crash of course (probably killed by kernel OOM).
