Comment:

 I am out of town until the 7th, but will leave valgrind running. Once I
 get back I will try to reproduce the crash (I have been unsuccessful so
 far, but this is one of those bugs you never know when it will occur).

 Just figured I would post this so the ticket doesn't get closed due to
 inactivity.
