 Are you the original reporter of this bug downstream at Debian? If not,
 please file a new ticket for your issue so that we can better track the
 two issues.

 Your backtrace is somewhat different and looks like it might be a double-
 free (according to some google searches for segfaults in
 malloc_consolidate).  If this is reproducible, please run Pidgin in
 valgrind and attach a log.
