 It appears that you did not fully read my response. Which is surprising,
 as Pidgin provides excellent support.
 (1) You told me to use "'apt-get install pidgin' " to complete the
 install; thus my response;
 (2) Your prose does not include the timing aspect that I mentioned...as
 you did state that it would be there eventually, as one developer made the
 build. Apt-get is fine, but just list it on the Ubuntu Download page.
 Simple.
