 Note: This happens ALL the time

 I only use AIM and MSN in Pidgin and this happens in BOTH.

 What happens is when I send ANYTHING to someone on my account pidgin
 doesn't let me delete the file even after the transfer is complete. I get
 an error in windows saying the file is already in use. When I receive
 files I do not get this error.

 Another example is I'm a programmer and when I send the executable jar
 files to friends to test and then when I fix a bug or two and try to build
 again my IDE (NetBeans) will not rebuild as the file is already in use.

 This is telling me that Pidgin doesn't close the transfers in Windows (I
 don't think I had this problem in Linux.)
