 There seems to be no information on how to format an AIM screen name in
 recent versions of Pidgin. When I try the method I've seen described in
 some old tickets from early v2.0.x(that is, log in with the formatting
 applied to your AIM handle), all I get is a message telling me that the
 account I tried to log in with doesn't exist.

 Is there some sort of hidden feature for formatting my AIM handle that I'm
 missing or what? I can't format the screen name via the AIM website, and
 I'd like my handle to read a bit more naturally.
