 It would seem that the complaint is about the entry area in the status
 selector not using the default outgoing formatting specified in the
 preferences. I'm unsure whether I think this is something that should be
 happening or not, I can see people being annoyed both ways (and I'm not
 even sure that all protocols support formatted status messages).
