 When doodling, a crash occurs if the other party closes the doodle window
 while I am choosing the color. Crash occurs only when I choose another
 color (move the handle) AFTER the other party closes doodle window.
 Repeated the scenario, same effect.
 Other party uses Yahoo Messenger v8 under Windows XP. Other party
 messenger did not have any crashes/lockups.

 it is 4AM here, so I did not get a backtrace. The bug should be easy to
 reproduce:

 STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
 (A: the first party, B: the second party):

 0. A: Pidgin, B: Y!M
 1. A or B: start doodle
 2. A: open color palette dialog
 3. A: (optional) choose a color (do NOT close palette dialog)
 4. B: close doodle
 5. A: choose another color
 [A CRASH, B OK]
