Comment:

 Looking at the code for PURPLEHOME, it doesn't seem that this changed
 recently. Are you sure that Pidgin used to save things in PURPLEHOME
 directly, rather than PURPLEHOME\.purple? If so, which version of Pidgin
 was this?
