Comment:

 Yep, Pidgin portable 2.5.8.  That's incredibly strange then if only 20
 emoticons are animated.  I'm not sure what exactly could have caused the
 high cpu usage then.  It was just an IM conversation, the text was
 colored/fonted, but no files were transfered and the window wasn't crashed
 or leaking as far as I could tell.
