 I uninstalled Pidgin, cleared the contents of the "%APPDATA%\.purple"
 folder and the "%ProgramFiles%\Pidgin" folder.  Reinstalled Pidgin 2.5.8.
 Added a test MySpace account and closed Pidgin.  I started Pidgin from the
 command prompt with
 {{{
 pidgin.exe -d 2>&1 > "%USERPROFILE%\debug1.log"
 }}}
 , moved tom to a group named 'Tom', and closed Pidgin.
 I then reopened Pidgin from the command prompt with
 {{{
 pidgin.exe -d 2>&1 > "%USERPROFILE%\debug2.log"
 }}}
 , observed that tom moved back to the original group, and then closed
 Pidgin.

 I have attached both log files as well as the blist.xml that existed after
 both runs.
