 In some cases a plugin would benefit from being able to set a "vertical-
 align:middle" attribute to an image shown inside a message in the
 conversation window.
 Making it possible for an exact vertical offset to the surrounding text to
 be specified would be even better.

 (My corresponding
 [http://code.google.com/p/pidgintex/issues/detail?id=28&can=1 feature
 request] for the pidginTeX plugin got rejected on the grounds of pidgin's
 html rendering engine not supporting this.)

 Would it be feasible to add this functionality to the underlying html
 engine? I'm sure other plugins that use more complex graphical output
 might also benefit from this.
