 My wife and I just started using Pidgin. The first night we started to use
 it we were at home. I was sending her messages and I would see the user is
 type... text, but then it would go away and I would never get a message. I
 thought she was just ignoring me, but then she brought her laptop into the
 bedroom and I heard her typing and saw the message that she was typing,
 but then it went away and no message was delivered.

 I took my headphones off and asked her if she messaged me and she said she
 has been asking me the same questions over and over and wondering why I
 wasn't responding. lol So it seems that she was getting all of my messages
 and none of mine.

 Last night, she was using the actual Yahoo Messenger client and sending me
 messages but I never received them. However, while here at work, we are
 chatting just fine using Yahoo.

 MSN did not have these issues as she sent me a few messages using that
 after I wasn't responding on Yahoo.

 Possibly a problem while both of us are NAT'd on the same network? If
 needed, I can test Pidgin and the actual Yahoo Client tonight.
