 So, sorry to make everyone go through all this, but this is solved now.
 Turns out that my roommate changed my password (as a joke!) and forgot to
 tell me about it. Some joke, no?

 That saying something for letting your computer log you in automatically,
 and all that, I can now log in to MSN. Thank you for the help!
