 Yeah, I get the same thing. You can select the file you want in the prefs
 dialog, and the preview button plays it fine.  Even switching between
 tabs, the settings are kept, but as soon as you close the dialog, the
 sounds go back to default.  I'm using windows version 2.6.1

 (I just overwrote the wav files in the installation directory with my
 preferred ones.)
