 I have pidgin 2.6.1 and i tired to set it and it's not letting me show it
 as my nickname. I'll be posting a debug log deblow.

 here is what happens with the debug window when i try to change nickname.

 I'm on windows 7 x64 with pidgin 2.6.1 with a yahoo account that's been
 activated in the past.
