 If I am running Pidgin 2.6.1 on Windows XP, I cannot put my computer to
 sleep or hibernate.  It hangs on the "Preparing to..." screen.

 Update: I rolled back to Pidgin 2.5.8 and still see the issue.  Also, I
 tried closing Pidgin before sleeping, and the PC still wouldn't sleep.
 This appears to be an issue on my system - maybe a service that Pidgin
 kicks off? - because my neighbor can sleep fine on a similar platform.
