 Hmm, okay. This is quite strange. My gut tells me this is a bug with that
 old version of Wildfire, but I don't know why it would manifest itself
 suddenly.

 It looks like this might be
 [http://www.igniterealtime.org/issues/browse/JM-784 JM-784], but it's hard
 to tell because that bug isn't linked to changes in the source.
