Old description:

 After installing the updated 2.6.1 version, my AIM buddy list does not
 load up anymore on pidgin. No error msgs are given and there are no signs
 of pidgin crashing, it just simply doesn't load the list.

Comment:

 Do you see the pidgin "Buddy List" window? What about an icon in the
 system tray that allows you to toggle whether the buddy list is shown?
