#10015: Buddy Pounce not allowing to "Send a message" when buddy "Sends a message"?

 I tried to find if ticket already exists but was surprised to not find the
 ticket.(on first 3-4 pages of search "buddy pounce"). Hence I am opening
 this ticket.

 I am trying to set a kind of autoreply when buddy sends me a message using
 buddy pounce.

 But no sooner I click "Pounce when a buddy...Sends a message" checkbox,
 the checkbox and textarea for "Send a message" gets disabled.

 I wonder why it has been done so.

 Is it a bug, feature or some kind of limitation?
