 First off, I have attached the debug log as requested.

 Ok, here's the problem.  Whenever my friend Sara sends me a custom
 emoticon over MSN, it doesn't show up.  I get the white page with the red
 x, but it never changes into anything else.  She has dialup, so her upload
 speed is very slow.  Custom MSN Emoticons _DO_ show up fine from other
 people, however.  She is using the Microsoft Windows Live client.
