 I am an end-user using Adium. I posted a Ticket for Adium, and the Adium
 team has determined it is a major defect of the libpurpule. My log file is
 attached. Many other people have similar problem but with that specific
 circumstances it is very easy to reproduce it.

 In the moment you block or unblock a person in your contact list, the
 Privacy Settings change immediately from "Allow only contacts on my
 contact list" to "Block certain contacts", resulting with an incoming SPAM
 within few minutes.
