 Pidgin-2.6.1 on windows (however this happened at times on lnux and
 slightly older versions as well) transfering files to a Yahoo messenger 8
 or 9.

 Files are videos, are 3-15MB each. During transfer at some point I get :
 Error : Unspecified fatal error encountered, aborting.
 then
 Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library : Runtime Error!
 C:\PROGRAM FILES\PIDGIN\PIDGIN.EXE
 abnormal program termination.

 I can reproduce this every time I transfer one or several large files.
 It happenes at different points during trasfer.
 It happenes if only one transfer is in progress and if several of the
 files are in progress.
 It happenes also after some of the files transfered successfully.

 O have watched the debug window during such a transfer, but nothing is
 displayed prior to such a crash.

 On Linux (slackware 12, kde) I've oberved pidgin simply dying without any
 messages.
