 On the MSN protocol, Pidgin often shows an error with "Message could not
 be sent because the user is offline:" when the user is online on the
 contact list. I have to close the conversation window and try some times
 until the message arrives to the other person.

 The other "option" is to wait the contact send me a message, then I can
 reply to it, but only if I do so under a time limit. After this time
 limit, the situation described in the paragraph above happens. This
 timeout is around 60s.

 XMPP and GoogleTalk work fine, so I believe this is a MSN problem.
