 In Ubuntu, Pidgin and all of it's plugins are supposed to be in /usr, but
 for the version in the developer PPA installs to /usr/local.

 This causes a problem because plugin packages assuming that pidgin will be
 looking for them in /usr/lib/purple-2. I assume this would be a problem
 for other debian packages as well.
