 I'm in the same boat as danielholm but with IRC.  The only issue that I
 can find is that the certificate is self-signed and expired in December.
 This shouldn't cause any issue, however, because I was able to accept the
 certificate after that expiration date.

 I removed the certificate but have received no prompt on
 reconnect/restart.  Would that be a related issue or a different bug?
