 I have asterisk 1:1.6.2.0~dfsg~beta3-1 with XMPP (Jingle) gateway. When I
 call the asterisk (skliarouk at gmail.com) using official GTalk client, I am
 able to hear the asterisk welcome message properly.

 If I make a voice call to the same contact from pidgin 2.6.1, I don't hear
 a thing.
