 I had multiple unresolved symbols when attempting to generate the
 libgnt.xxx libraries.  The culprit seems to be that the LIBS variable in
 pidgin-2.6.4/finch/libgnt/Makefile which includes neither -lm nor -ldl.
 The systems are Solaris8 and Solaris9.  I don't know about Solaris10.
