#10895: Pidgin does not expand to fill panel when swallowed by gnome-swallow-applet
---------------------+------------------------------------------------------
Reporter: Ketsuban | Type: enhancement
Status: new | Component: pidgin (gtk)
 Version: 2.6.2 | Keywords: pidgin gnome-swallow-applet panel
---------------------+------------------------------------------------------
I use gnome-swallow-applet to save my poor overworked notification bar
from having to display yet another notification icon. This has the handy
side-effect of providing an autohide feature for Pidgin on Linux.

However, I have to carefully size the Buddy List window before swallowing
it into the panel, or else it will either leave a gap at the top and/or
bottom, or, worse, overshoot the bottom of the panel and potentially
render portions of the window inaccessible.

I would appreciate it if Pidgin were to detect when it was being swallowed
and take up all the space available in the panel to prevent this.
