 You can mail me directly at sulabh.dev at gmail.com, keep the subject of the
 mail "packet capture for #10882".

 Provide a full debug log and attach it to the ticket, attach the ticket as
 a file.
 The debug log you provided is incomplete as it doesn't show what pidgin
 does after receiving those packets.
 I would suggest you to keep the debug log running for 5 mins after you
 attempt to change the buddy icon. Then save the contents of the log and
 attach the file to this ticket. Also report if buddy icon change was
 successful.

 You reported "host not found" for a particular url, can you switch to some
 other dns server (opendns perhaps) to test if this is not the cause of the
 problem.
