 On yahoo messenger my online buddies appear online and I can chat with
 them.  On pidgin however, they either do not show up or appear offline.
 I've tried adding one of my buddies and Pidgin gives me an error saying
 they are not on the server list (even though that buddy is showing up in
 yahoo messenger as online and I can chat with them).
