New description:

I'm having the exact same issues as the person who reported ticket #10787.
AVG keeps reporting that a few jpegs in
 C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\.purple\icons\ are viruses.

Here's some quoted text from ticket #10787:
"AVG has been constantly telling me that all the icons in the Owner >
Appdata > Roaming > .purple > icons folder may be infected by an unknown
virus because the .jpegs have an opening that might mean they're infected
 by a virus."

 I'm running:
 Pidgin 2.6.4
 AVG Internet Security v9.0.710
 Windows 7 Ultimate 32-Bit.

Sorry if it's inappropriate for me to open a new ticket. This is the first
time I've ever submitted a bug report and I wasn't sure if I should post a
new bug report or add on to the existing one. I'm not sure if responses to
existing tickets are reserved for the people working the bug(s) or if
other users are free to add on to it and I definitely didn't want to
refrain from reporting my issue at all so that people didn't think that it
 is/was one isolated issue.

Please let me know the best way to add my issue to an existing ticket in
 the future.

 Thank you.
