 jscottsmith: Your crash issue is going to be something different, please
 file a new ticket with a crash report.  We can't control your buddies
 using icons that may trigger vulnerability in some JPEG implementations -
 I assume that none of the icons that AVG complains about are actually
 shipped by Pidgin.
