 I just noticed some kind of bug in Pidgin I think.

 Scenario:
 I. I added a friend on GG protocol, number format "XXXXXXX " <- WITH
 SPACE)
 II. Then I want to send a message to this friend
 III. After pressing enter, the message appears in chat window, but
 connection with gg network is lost ('cant read from socket').
 IV. I click 'reconnect' (OK, connection is back).
 V. When I will sent another message to this friend connection will be lost
 again...

 I think that user id's (like GG number) should be parsed before stored in
 contact list (simple trim function should be enough).
