 Not filtering something is not encouraging it.

 If you want to perform any form of censorship, it should be at the
 reciever's option.

 If you want any sort of father-knows-best setup ala MS Windows, protecting
 users from themselves, it should be some sort of 'Windows mode' option.  A
 lot of the reason people are into FOSS is because they don't like
 intentional defunctionality imposed on them, it's very politically
 incorrect to have added extra lines of code to break something that worked
 for the purpose of imposing political correctness.

 You don't let yourself have root on your box, I hope?
