 You said you managed to fix it, so I chose between closing it as invalid
 and 'worksforme'. Since it does, in fact, work for me (well, whenever I
 enable my MSN account), I chose that.  As long as Pidgin has access to the
 CA certificates it ships with (or the system's set are properly set up),
 Microsoft's changing the installed certificate on the server should not be
 a problem (and is not for the majority of users).

 A debug log is indeed the output of the Help->Debug Window.  You always
 have the option of redacting the private information from the file.

 Since you "fixed" the issue by enabling the HTTP method, I'm not sure a
 debug log will be helpful anymore.  You also didn't actually explain why
 "new MSN certificates [are] required" (i.e. what you're seeing).  If
 you're still able to reproduce the warning I assume you're seeing, then
 please attach a debug log.
