 Pidgin starts up, the icon displays in the system tray but it does not
 respond.

 Killing the process doesn't work through either task manager or
 taskkill.exe in an elevated command window.

 It cannot be uninstalled because the process auto starts when windows
 starts up and as I've mentioned before it cannot be killed. Reinstalling
 doesn't help the problem at all.

 I cant create a dump report because the process is always on and doesn't
 allow the second instance to be created.

 The pidgin process consumes roughly 15MB but does not consume any CPU
 cycles.
