 I tried upgrading Pidgin to 2.6.4 on Windows XP SP3, but as soon as I
 launch the program, it gives me the standard "Pidgin has encountered a
 problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." windows
 error crash message.

 Seems to be originating from liboscar.dll?

 I've attached the debug report.
