New description:
Hello,
I'm a Korean. I'm running Pidgin on Windows XP/7 with a locale of English.
When I type Korean in the input area of the conversation window, one
Korean letter is assembled at the top left corner of the desktop first and
then shows up in the input area after the letter is made completely. This
problem doesn't happen if I change the locale of the Windows system from
English to Korean by setting the environmental variable PIDGINLANG to ko,
but if I do that, all menu names such as Buddies, Accounts, Tools and Help
change to Korean, which I don't like. '''I hope a Korean letter is
assembled in the input area of the conversation window on Windows with a
locale of English.''' Attached is a snapshot showing what the problem
looks like.
Thanks,
Young-Moo Byun
