 It is very unlikely that pidgin itself is leaking GDI handles as pidgin
 itself doesn't know anything about GDI handles (only the small amount of
 Windows-specific code even could, and I doubt much (any) of that code is
 display related).

 Daniel Beardsmore: Double check your version of GTK+ please (at the bottom
 of the Help->About dialog) and try switching GTK+ themes and seeing if you
 still see the GDI leaks.
