Old description:

 command line  /nick doesn't work inside a room.
 for example /nick tkukler2
 It just locks up my client.

 We're using openfire as our XMPP server.
 The command line command seems to work fine in other clients (Pandion.)

 Workaround:

 exit the room, change handle on re-entry.
 but, would rather have /nick      work.
