 When I copy and paste text from Chrome Dev Branch 2.0.158.0 to Pidgin main
 2.5.4 GTK+Runtime: 2.14.6 on Windows Vista SP1 it results in a fragmented
 tag (</span) appearing in the text input of the chat window.

 However, copying from IE7, Safari does not result in this.  Also copying
 from Chrome to MS Word and Notepad doesn't result in this either.

 Chrome team willing to help resolve.
