Comment:

 I don't believe that smiley has changed in quite some time (though I would
 have to check to be sure) so if it was working the way you expected
 recently you should try to think about what you might have changed
 recently.

 Also, that smiley is mapped to 'shout.png' in the default smiley theme
 whereas AIM doesn't appear to have a smiley mapped to 'angry.png' (MSN,
 QQ, Yahoo, and XMPP do however).
